What is Vedic astrology?
Vedic astrology, or Jyotisha, is the traditional Indian system of astrology. It reads planetary positions against the sidereal zodiac, which is fixed to the observed constellations, and places heavy emphasis on the Moon sign and on the dasha system of planetary periods that time when events are likely to unfold.
